Jellycat Adventure at Selfridges! 🎉

Our friend’s birthday is coming up, and she’s a huge Jellycat fan! Her collection is impressive - sometimes she even has duplicates of her favorite characters! So, we decided to surprise her with a limited edition Fish & Chips set by Jellycat from Selfridges - a nod to classic British culture. Even if she already has it, it’s the thought that counts, right?

We booked our slot online (bookings open 7 days in advance), and when the day arrived…oh my goodness, the entire collection was adorable! While waiting in line, we were handed a “menu” of the collection to browse. When it was our turn, we went all out and ordered the entire set: three Amuseables, exclusive world items, and a personalized gift package. It included Amuseables Lily Fish, Cosy Chips, Peggy Mushy Peas, three enamel pins, three sticker sheets, Fish & Chips packaging, a personalized sticker, and a gift bag.

The staff made the experience so special! They took our order and even asked for our friend’s name before prepping everything. First, they brought out the “fresh fried” chips with salt and vinegar for us to “sprinkle,” followed by the “freshly caught” fish at 5 am. We “squeezed” the lemon on it, wrapped it, and sealed it with a personalized sticker. Then came the mushy peas, wrapped and stickered too! Everything was packaged beautifully with a few exclusive gifts.

Just when we thought everything was perfect, we had a little mishap: our water bottle leaked in the bag! The gift packaging got wet, and the beautiful pattern began to blur. Unsure what to do, we went back to the store to see if we could get a new bag. A kind staff member, after speaking with her manager, agreed to let us exchange it as long as we returned the damaged one. We were so grateful!

We hope our friend, Sue, loves the Fish & Chips set by Jellycat - it took time, effort, and a bit of stress, but it was all worth it.
