Milan Dreaming: Our Italian City Break! 🇮🇹🍕
Every girl dreams of going to Milan or Paris for a fashion show, and finally, we made it! But this trip was all about a city break, sightseeing, and, of course, savoring real Italian food. Yum! Here we go, Milano…we’re coming!
We arrived in the evening and checked into our hotel, then headed out for food. After a quick search, we found a highly-rated pizza place nearby. It was amazing - freshly made and served fast! The next day, we visited the iconic Duomo di Milano and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The architecture is jaw-dropping! Since we were there in July, the heat was intense, so we cooled off by exploring a few bars. With each drink, they brought complimentary snacks, a dream come true for a foodie and beverage enthusiast!
While in Milan, we tried it all: Espresso, Tiramisu, Gelato, Fried Pizza, Pork Milanese, Ossobucco, and Risotto. Each dish was better than the last! Can’t wait to come back for more.
Must-See Spots in Milan:
- Duomo di Milano: This breathtaking cathedral is the world’s largest Gothic building, and its architecture and history are spellbinding.

- Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II: The Galleria’s stunning mosaics, intricate floors, and balconies are full of vibrant colors and patterns that tell Milan’s story.

- Navigli: A trendy area with bars, art galleries, hip restaurants, and Milan’s best flea and antiques market.

- Brera: Bursting with color and activity, Brera is the city’s creative heart and perfect for spotting the latest trends.

- 10 Corso Como: A hidden gem for fashion, culture, and food. The garden terrace called us in, and Olive tried a cocktail called “Make You Happy” - and it really did! They served it with olives, almonds, and crisps, making us fall in love with the relaxed vibe.

- Eat at Eataly: Perfect for Italian food and souvenirs.

- Starbucks Reserve Roastery: A beautiful spot for coffee lovers, featuring rare brews and Italian-inspired bites. Though our drinks (Torino and Mocha Bianco Cream Cold Brew) didn’t quite hit the mark, it was still worth the visit for the ambiance.

- Historical Tram Ride: A charming experience on the vintage yellow, wooden trams—noisy, funny, and full of character.

- Aperitivos: Most bars serve complimentary snacks like olives, cheeses, meats, and bruschetta with your drinks. A perfect Italian touch!
From the iconic sights to delicious Italian food, Milan treated us well. Until next time, Milano! 🖤✈️
