Our Oktoberfest Adventure in Reading! 🍻🇩🇪
We recently went to Oktoberfest in Reading, and arriving a bit early was a win - no lines at the bar! The event felt super safe and well-organized thanks to the thorough security team, who carefully checked IDs and bags.
Inside, we kicked things off with 2-pint beers each and couldn’t resist checking out the stand selling Bavarian wigs and hats, which added to the festive vibe. Outside, we found the perfect Oktoberfest snack: classic German sausages! 🌭
Then the party truly started! Live music, DJs, and bands got everyone in the mood, and competition games with beer prizes kept the energy high. The crowd was mostly dressed in traditional Bavarian outfits, fully embracing the Oktoberfest vibe. One of our friends even dared to wear a Bavarian wig - it gave everyone a good laugh!
Midnight brought one of the night’s highlights: an unforgettable ‘Beer Train’ of over 60 people cheerfully marching through the crowd! Huge shoutout to the security team - they were so thorough, they even checked one of our friend’s ID from front to back, making sure it was authentic. We felt like we were in good hands all night!
Have you been to Oktoberfest in Reading or Munich? Let us know your best memory! Next time, we’re hoping to make it to the real Oktoberfest in Munich! Prost! 🍻
